As a former teacher, Izabel has a long-lasting passion to become a counsellor to support children, youth and families to reach optimal mental health, conquer challenges and celebrate their success.

Izabel is currently finishing her M.A. in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She holds as B.A. (Honours) in Child and Youth and Psychology from Trent University.

Izabel’s goal is to provide her clients with a safe and non-judgemental environment where they can feel supported and empowered to make autonomous decisions throughout the therapeutic process. Her integrative approach using person-centered and cognitive behaviour therapy techniques are important to help clients tailor goals and work on needs as they see fit.

Further, Izabel strives to explore clients’ inner strengths and own capabilities to achieve growth, healing and a more meaningful and healthy life.

As a student we off counselling at a reduced rates, $65 / hour for individuals & $75  / hour for couples.
